new students should Create an online profile before THEIR first class.
Starting anything new can be scary, but we are here to help make it as comfortable as possible. Know that the learning curve is quick, and what seems difficult the first time becomes attainable after only a few sessions. Here are a few helpful tips...
Arrive early
Get here 15-20 minutes early before your first class to meet your instructor and familiarize yourself with our studio.
hydrate
Drink plenty of water before coming to class. Hydration is important!
keep snacks small
We suggest finishing your meal at least two hours before class. If you need one, keep snacks small.
One mat, two towels
Bring a mat and two towels, one for practice and one for after. If you forget-- no worries! We have mats and towels to rent.
be ready to sweat
It is HOT! Your sweat helps to release toxins, makes the muscles more malleable, and the heat also increases vasodilation.
Take it easy
Be nice to yourself, remember to breathe, and stay in the room for the duration of the 90 minutes. Sitting is common and encouraged.
